IND vs WI: India End Day 1 on Top After Ravichandran Ashwin’s Five-For.

IND vs WI: India ended Day 1 of the first Test against West Indies on top after Ravichandran Ashwin took five wickets to help bowl the hosts out for 150.

Ashwin was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking 5-60 in 21 overs. He was ably supported by Ravindra Jadeja, who took 3-34.

The West Indies batsmen struggled against the Indian spin duo, and they were never able to get their innings going. Only Alick Athanaze, who made 47, offered any resistance.

In reply, India reached 80-0 at stumps, with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal unbeaten on 30 and 40 respectively.

The Indian openers will be looking to build on their good start on Day 2 and put their team in a strong position.
