Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Gerd Muller’s 42-Year-Old Record.

Cristiano Ronaldo added another record to his already illustrious career on Tuesday, breaking Gerd Muller’s 42-year-old record for most headers scored in football history.

Ronaldo scored his 145th headed goal in a match against Monastir in the Arab Club Champions Cup, surpassing Muller’s previous record of 144. The goal came in the 74th minute, when Ronaldo headed home a cross from Fahad Al Muwallad.

The 38-year-old Ronaldo is now the all-time leading scorer in men’s football, with 839 goals. He has also scored more goals from headers than any other player in history.

Muller, who is considered one of the greatest strikers of all time, set the previous record in 1981. He scored his 144 headed goals in a career that spanned 21 years, playing for Bayern Munich and the West German national team.

Ronaldo’s record-breaking goal was met with widespread praise from the football world. “Ronaldo is simply incredible,” said former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand. “He keeps breaking records and showing no signs of slowing down.”

Ronaldo himself was humble in his reaction to the record. “I am grateful for this achievement,” he said. “It is a great honor to break Gerd Muller’s record, one of the greatest strikers in the history of the game.”

Ronaldo’s record-breaking goal is another reminder of his incredible longevity and goalscoring prowess. He is showing no signs of slowing down at the age of 38, and he will surely continue to break records in the years to come.

Is Gerd Muller better than Ronaldo?

This is a difficult question to answer, as both players are considered two of the greatest goal scorers of all time. Muller had a longer career than Ronaldo, and he won more trophies, including three European Cups with Bayern Munich. However, Ronaldo has scored more goals in his career, and he has also broken more records.

Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide who they think is the better player. However, there is no doubt that both Muller and Ronaldo are legends of the game, and their achievements will be remembered for many years to come.
