IND vs WI 2023: India defeated West Indies by a massive 200 runs in the third and final ODI of the series to clinch the series 2-1. After being invited to bat first, India posted a challenging 351/5 in 50 overs, thanks to a fine half-century from Shubman Gill (85) and an unbeaten 70 from Hardik Pandya.

The West Indies’ batting, however, was a complete disaster as they were bundled out for just 151 in 36.1 overs. Mukesh Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for India, taking 3 wickets for 23 runs.

This was India’s first ODI series win in West Indies since 2013.

The first ODI was played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. India won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 307-5 in their 50 overs. Rohit Sharma top-scored with 102, while Virat Kohli scored 66. West Indies were bowled out for 176 in reply, with Mukesh Kumar taking 3-33.

The second ODI was also played at the Kensington Oval. India again won the toss and batted first, scoring 288-5 in their 50 overs. Ishan Kishan top-scored with 77, while Shreyas Iyer scored 62. West Indies were bowled out for 182 in reply, with Shardul Thakur taking 3-23.

The third and final ODI was played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad. India won the toss and batted first, scoring 351-5 in their 50 overs. Hardik Pandya top-scored with 70, while Shubman Gill scored 85. West Indies were bowled out for 193 in reply, with Yuzvendra Chahal taking 3-34.

India’s victory in the ODI series was their first in the West Indies since 2013. They will now look to continue their good form in the upcoming T20I series.
