IND vs IRE: The India vs Ireland T20 series is set to get underway on Friday, August 18, and there is a growing sense of anticipation for the matches.
India are the clear favorites, having won all five of their previous T20 matches against Ireland. However, the Irish team will be hoping to spring a surprise and make a mark on the world stage. The 27-year-old all-rounder from Bengal has been in good form in the domestic circuit in recent years. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spinner. Ahmed has the ability to contribute with both bat and ball, and he is a good fielder as well. He is a good option for the Indian team as a backup all-rounder.
Prasidh Krishna:
The 27-year-old right-arm fast bowler from Karnataka has been in and out of the Indian team in recent years. He is a good death bowler, and he can also bowl with pace and accuracy in the early overs. Krishna is a good option for the Indian team as a third seamer.
Jitesh Sharma:
The 23-year-old wicket-keeper batsman from Madhya Pradesh has been in good form in the domestic circuit in recent years. He is a right-handed batsman who is good at playing the spin. Sharma is also a good wicket-keeper, and he is a good option for the Indian team as a backup wicket-keeper.
