Pre-orders for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2020 game Final Fantasy 7 Remake, are now live at select retailers. The game is scheduled to release exclusively for PlayStation 5 in early 2024.
The standard edition of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is priced at $70 and is available to pre-order in physical format at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. The game will also be available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store at a later date.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second game in a planned trilogy that will remake the original Final Fantasy 7. The game picks up where the first game left off, with Cloud and his friends continuing their journey to stop Sephiroth from destroying the world.
The game is being developed by Square Enix’s Creative Business Unit III, the same team that developed the first game. It is being directed by Tetsuya Nomura, who also directed the original Final Fantasy 7 and the Kingdom Hearts series.
