Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom DLC Likely to be Shelved

Legend of Zelda: In a recent interview with Famitsu, Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma said that there are currently no plans for DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Aonuma said that the game was originally conceived as DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it eventually evolved into a full-fledged game. He said that the team is now focused on developing new games, so it is unlikely that they will have time to create DLC for Tears of the Kingdom.

This news is disappointing to many fans who were hoping for more content for Tears of the Kingdom. The game was well-received by critics and fans alike, and it has a lot of potential for DLC.

However, it is understandable why Nintendo is not planning to release DLC. The game was released just a few months ago, and Nintendo is likely already working on its next Zelda game.

It is still possible that Nintendo could release DLC for Tears of the Kingdom in the future. However, it is not something that is currently being planned. Fans will just have to wait and see what Nintendo decides to do.

In the meantime, there is still plenty of content to enjoy in Tears of the Kingdom. The game is a massive open-world adventure with a lot to explore.

There are also a variety of side quests and challenges to complete. Fans who are looking for a new Zelda game to play should definitely check out Tears of the Kingdom.

Here are some other reasons why Tears of the Kingdom DLC is unlikely to happen:

  • The game is already a very complete experience. It has a long story, a vast open world, and a lot of side content.
  • Nintendo is likely already working on its next Zelda game. They may not have the resources to develop DLC for Tears of the Kingdom.
  • DLC can be a risky investment. It is not always clear if fans will be willing to pay for it.

Of course, there is always a chance that Nintendo could change their mind and release DLC for Tears of the Kingdom in the future. But for now, it seems like it is not in the cards.
