Xbox Game Pass is already shaping up to be a great month in October, with eight games confirmed to be joining the service. The headliner is undoubtedly Forza Motorsport, the latest entry in Microsoft’s long-running racing series.
The game is set to launch on October 10th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be available to Game Pass subscribers on day one.
Other notable additions include Cities: Skylines 2, the sequel to one of the most popular city-building games of all time. Cities: Skylines 2 launches on October 24th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will also be available to Game Pass subscribers on day one.
Another big name coming to Game Pass in October is Gotham Knights, the new open-world action RPG from WB Games MontrĂ©al. Gotham Knights is set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham games, but stars Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin as they protect Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. The game launches on October 3rd for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

In addition to these eight games, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also expect a number of other games to be added to the service in October. Microsoft typically announces new Game Pass additions on the first and third Tuesday of each month, so we can expect to hear more about what’s coming to the service soon.
