Blizzard Entertainment’s upcoming Warcraft-themed strategy game, Warcraft Rumble, is set to launch on iOS and Android on November 3, 2023. The game was first announced in May 2022, and has been in development ever since.
Warcraft Rumble is a free-to-play mobile strategy game that blends tower defense, RTS, and autobattler elements. Players will collect and upgrade over 60 iconic Warcraft characters, including Arthas, Jaina, Thrall, and Sylvanas, to build powerful armies and lead them to victory.
The game features a long-form single-player campaign that will take players across the world of Azeroth, as well as opportunities for co-op missions, PvP, guilds, raids, and dungeons.
In a recent interview with IGN, Blizzard lead game designer Mike Donais said that the team is focused on creating a game that is both accessible to new players and challenging for veterans.
“We want to make a game that everyone can enjoy, regardless of their experience with Warcraft or strategy games in general,” Donais said. “But we also want to make a game that is deep and rewarding for players who want to master it.”
Warcraft Rumble is currently available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Players who pre-register will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including the Mecha Kobold Skin, Mecha Kobold Portrait, Mecha Tower Skin, and Mecha Kobold Emote.
