The Diamond League 2023 season began on May 12 in Doha, Qatar, and will end on September 16-17 in Eugene, Oregon, USA. There are a total of 14 meetings in the 2023 season, with each meeting hosting a number of Diamond Discipline events according to allocation. Some of the events will not be broadcast.

India is expected to have a strong showing in the 2023 Diamond League, with a number of athletes in contention for podium finishes.

Neeraj Chopra, the Olympic gold medalist in javelin throw, is the most high-profile Indian athlete in the Diamond League. He will face stiff competition from the likes of Anderson Peters of Grenada and Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic, but he will be confident of his chances of victory.
Another Indian athlete to watch out for is Murali Sreeshankar, the national record holder in long jump. Sreeshankar finished third in the Paris Diamond League in June with a jump of 8.09m. He will be looking to improve on that performance in the coming months and challenge for a podium finish in the Diamond League final in Zurich in September.
