Sai Sudharsan’s unbeaten 132 powers South Zone to Deodhar Trophy final.

Sai Sudharsan: Puducherry, August 1, 2023: Sai Sudharsan’s unbeaten 132 helped South Zone beat Central Zone by seven wickets in the final league match of the Deodhar Trophy on Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 262, Sudharsan anchored the chase with a brilliant display of batting. He faced 136 deliveries and struck 11 fours and a six. He was well-supported by Rohit Rayudu (37) and Washington Sundar (43 not out).

Sudharsan’s innings was his second century of the tournament. He had also scored 53 against East Zone in the first match. The 21-year-old Tamil Nadu batsman is in excellent form and is one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming domestic season.

South Zone and Central Zone faced off in the 15th match of the Deodhar Trophy 2023 on August 1, 2023, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. South Zone won the match by 7 wickets.
